Practical Notes

Before you play.

When is the best season for safari golf?+

May to September. The bushveld is dry, cool in the mornings and game viewing is at its best around waterholes. Summer (November to February) brings afternoon thunderstorms and thicker bush — still playable, but we schedule early tee times.

Can you arrange play at Leopard Creek?+

Leopard Creek is a private club and access is by member introduction or approved resident-guest arrangement. We handle the application, timing and paperwork on your behalf, and pair it with Lowveld lodge accommodation.

Is malaria a concern?+

The Lowveld and Kruger region is a low-risk malaria area, with the lowest risk in the dry winter months. The Waterberg and most Limpopo bushveld courses are malaria-free. We advise per itinerary and recommend you consult your doctor.

How do we travel between safari courses?+

Road transfers from Johannesburg for the Waterberg and Limpopo courses, and light-aircraft charter or scheduled flights to Kruger Mpumalanga International for the Lowveld. Private transfers and drivers are arranged as standard.

Can rental clubs be delivered to a game lodge?+

Yes. We deliver full Titleist sets directly to your lodge or resort ahead of your first round and collect after your last — including remote reserves where road access is restricted.

Is wildlife on the course a hazard?+

Plains game are habituated and generally unbothered by play. Big Five reserves are fenced away from the fairways or attended by rangers. Local caddies know the etiquette — give animals room, never play through a herd.
